Geraldine Chaney, MD

Dr. Geraldine Chaney is a Board Certified Pediatrician in the Jackson, MS metropolitan area where she has practiced for over 30 years. She is owner of Capital City Children’s and Adolescent Clinic, PLLC. Dr. Chaney is the 5th child of 9 children born to Robert Raymond and Helen Owen Chaney of Meridian, MS. Geraldine attended Tougaloo College and studied Biology and Chemistry and attained a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1973. She then attended the University of Mississippi Medical School here in Jackson, MS and attained the Doctor of Medicine Degree in 1977. Her residency was done at the Childrens’ Hospital at UMC, in Pediatrics and completed in 1981.

She is married to Jesse A. Buie, MPH, of Brookhaven, MS, a health care executive, business owner and a private pilot. They have 2 daughters Yolanda and Crystal. Dr. Chaney states “my calling to the field of Medicine is truly a blessing. I love what I do and I try to do it well.”

Kenneth A. Yung, MD

Dr. Kenneth A. Yung is a practicing pediatrician with more than 15 years of experience in treating and maintaining the health of his patients from infants to adolescents. Dr. Yung attended the University of Mississippi and studied Biology and Chemistry and attained a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1997. He then attended the University of Mississippi Medical School here in Jackson, MS, and attained the Doctor of Medicine Degree in 2001. His residency was done at LSU Health Science Center, in Pediatrics and completed in 2004.

 

Dr. Yung specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of medical illnesses in pediatrics and adolescents, medical consultations regarding illnesses and medical conditions, and health maintenance and development assessments. Dr. Yung’s top priorities are to deliver the best medical care for his patients and communicate with parents/caretakers so that everyone can be involved in providing optimal care.
